Being a people person and working in the wedding industry is a great fit. No two days are the same and getting to know clients sometimes for over a year, if the big day is that far away, lets me see how the build up energises their personality.

I’ve been on the phone for over an hour as I get involved talking to the brides about their venue, the cake and of course the dress. This is the good stuff. But planning to make sure their day starts off as good as it can be and just doesn’t happen. I have to plan for weather, snow tyre in winter:just in case! Second wedding car’s road works chauffeurs and keeping the cars safe. Not as interesting but absolutely necessary. Having staff who know the roads of Nottingham inside helps a lot as I’m just a Sat Nav person and follow the directions. And I have to say the county of Nottinghamshire at the moment is packed with road works, so I’d rather rely on local knowledge.

This is still a learning curve for me, but my goal is to give the bride and groom exactly what they want to start their day off in style, safety and be on time.
